Details

Join WHYY for a special conversation between Patti LaBelle and her longtime friend and music industry insider, Dyana Williams, about Patti’s cooking, her musical background and connections to Philadelphia.

Entertainer and entrepreneur Patti LaBelle has been known for her cooking for years, first by her family and other famous musicians and then through her first cookbook, the bestseller LaBelle Cuisine: Recipes to Sing About. Now, somewhere between managing a successful line of products, Patti’s Good Life, starring on her own hit TV show, Patti LaBelle’s Place, and selling out concert halls, Patti LaBelle is coming out with a new cookbook, Desserts LaBelle, featuring classics like Patti’s sweet potato pie.

All tickets will include an autographed copy of the book Desserts LaBelle, which comes out the day before the event!
