STUDENTS SPEAK:
Our Children Are The Future
The Barnes Foundation
5:30pm - 7:00pm

The Philadelphia education system is in serious turmoil. As we prepare for the start of the 2013 school year, there is tremendous uncertainty about what will happen to our students whose schools have been closed. There are still many unanswered questions and throughout this conversation, one critical voice has been missing…the Students.

Until now…

Join 900AM-WURD at The Barnes Foundation on Friday, September 20th as we give students a chance to speak their mind at Students Speak: Our Children Are The Future, Education Symposium. WURD will give our youth an opportunity to express their thoughts, concerns and ideas about improving Philadelphia’s education system. Invited to hear “Students Speak” will be Philadelphia School Superintendent Dr. William Hite, Mayor Michael Nutter and other notable education stakeholders in Philadelphia.
