From playing with toys to exploring the hidden secrets of the Universe, nine year old genius is doing things most people only dream of doing.
Nine year old boy goes to college
There are high hopes for the rising generation as kids these days are not solely focused on playing with toys but rather explore the realms of physics and other aspects that help shape the universe. Nine year old Tanishq Abraham is among the few children who fit into this portrait. He is currently the youngest student ever to have been accepted and enrolled at the American River College in Sacramento, California surprisingly at the age of seven and is currently receiving straight A’s surpassing some of his older counterparts..
Tanishq Abraham is an Indian American who was inducted into the genius society Mensa at the age of four. At age two, he was able to count from 1- 100 and the young male also was skipped from first grade to perform fourth and fifth grade math. One of his greatest accomplishments was scoring in the 99.9 percentile on a standardized test for intelligence. He was reportedly removed from public schooling due to lack of interest of class topics and bullying. According to the Huffington post when Tanishq Abraham was asked about his interest he replied “I like particle physics, anti-matter the fate of the universe and the Big Bang” –not a typical answer from a nine year old. The mother of nine year old Tanishq Abraham, Dr. Taji Abraham, expresses her belief that she was able to tell that her son was gifted since he was just a toddler.
Most kids his age is focused on coloring books, cartoons and other activities in that nature while Tanishq Abraham as a child is focused on aspects of the universe that most adults is unable to comprehend themselves. Even NASA’S Lunar Science website published essays about astronomy written by the young male while he was only seven years of age. Although it’s clearly apparent that the young genius is different from most youngsters, he still enjoys some of the same activities that most kids his age enjoy. According to a profile of posted on his college’s online newspaper, young Tanishq enjoys gymnastics, playing soccer, practicing on the piano, solving puzzles and other typical age appropriate activities.
Tanishq Abraham attends college with students more than twice his age and yet in still is asked by some of his professors to hold lectures and lead discussions. According to the dailymail website when asked what will he do when he get older, he states “ I really want to be a scientist or a president, President of the United States”. Big dreams from such a small child only adds to the bright future he has ahead of him.
