Former president Bill Clinton expected to give speech at the the Democratic National Convention on Sept. 5th.
Former Democratic president, Bill Clinton continues to play a prominent role for the Obama campaign. It's no secret that the Clinton family supports President Barack Obama especially with the on going public statments made by Clinton's. On Septemtber 5th, a day before President Obama accepts the nomination, former president Bill Clinton will be present at the Democratic National Convention in an effort to support the re-election of President Barack Obama.
According to Fox News, the Obama campaign confirmed with Fox that Clinton will argue in favor of President Obama and there belief that the U.S. should continue on focusing on building the economy from the middle class and differitiate between the economic policies of President Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney.
The Obama campaign have high hopes of Clinton being able to deliver a message that resonates within the American voters to help encourage voters to side with the Obama Administration. Obama campaign strategist said . "To have President Clinton on Wednesday night laying out the choice facing voters, and then having Vice President Biden speak right before the president in prime time on Thursday, giving a testimony to the decisions the president has made, the character of his leadership and the battle to rebuild the middle class that's so central to our message."
President Clinton spoke at the 2008 convention endorsing his wife Hillary Clinton, however since then the bond between the Obama and Clinton family have gotten stronger which will be beneficial for the Obama Campaign and Clinton's speech on Sept. 5th. Only time will tell how effective Clinton's speech will be and the the impact it will have for the Obama campaign.
