PREVIEW: WURD's December 11 Tribute to Nelson Mandela

On December 11, we'll dedicate a portion of our programming to a formal remembrance of Nelson Mandela. As a preview, enjoy WURD's multimedia tribute to Mandela, his country and the upcoming biopic "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom."

900AM-WURD is excited to announce that on Wednesday, December 11, we will dedicate a portion of our programming to a formal remembrance of Nelson Mandela. Please tune in! 

As announced previously, that same evening at 7:30 p.m. we will also host a screening of "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" at the United Artists Riverview Stadium 17. The film tells Nelson Mandela's inspirational story from his humble beginnings in Transkei, South Africa, to his 27-year incarceration for treason and eventual release to become the first president of a fully participatory and democratic South Africa.
